Quality Control
In our continued commitment to Quality we have made some important changes on how we look at serving our customer through enhanced oversight and testing, ensuring that we set the bar in Quality Control compared to any of our competitors, making the OZ Hoist the top of the line import in performance, safety, durability ,and customer satisfaction. Imported hoists make up the largest amount of hoists sold in the U.S., we would like you to know how we separate ourselves from the competition to make sure we provide our customer with a true top of the line hoist.
Every hoist is triple tested at the factory to 50% over the rated capacity; the Aussies have direct oversight at the factory on every aspect of manufacturing, we can also supply the mill certificates on the steel, a "must have" when purchasing any imported hoist. We can also provide the metallurgical make — up of our chain, another important piece of information integral with hoist safety.
With every barrel of chain we bring in we send a sample to a local load testing company for a re-test, this combined with factory testing and Aussie oversight ensures we are selling a verifiable quality product.
Here in the U.S. at our OZ facility we rig every hoist with chain to the standard or requested length, set the overloads, and again triple test the hoist to 50% over the rated load. Each hoist is double checked from gear side to brake side and initialed by two OZ Techs, a test cert is then generated with all the load test information.
We feel that with all our oversight and "in house" rigging and testing we separate ourselves from the competitors who also import their hoists; this has certainly come at a cost to us but at the same time created jobs here in the U.S...
